Cosmic One-ness
Last night Amy graduated from UNH Manchester. (YAY for you, Amy!) They had a Universalist Unitarian female minister give the invocation, and she started her "prayer" like this.... "Oh Nameless One with many names..." The six of us in our row burst out laughing. How do you AMEN that one??

Well, obviously YOU'RE not enlightened material! I bet you even think God has a gender and prefers hymns over good poetry!

That's even better than the recent wedding we attended where the minister (female) told us all to close our eyes and feel the warm light of love coming over us. Huh? I recommend that to all young couples when they get their first joint credit card bill and can't believe the other's purchases. -rlr
I bet if you'd gone "OM" like monks do, hardly anybody would have turned a hair...
