Yeah, it was probably your unique experience. :-) It would take some major gymnastics for me to get my foot out the window while I was driving (my legs are about 4 feet long or so)!

I, too, have driven w/ my toes peeking out the window - it's not too hard even for long legged folk. You just have to kind of slouch in the seat! But then I heard a horrible story of an accident when someone did that, and I haven't done it since then. It was fun while it lasted, though (especially since nothing stung me while doing it!). :)

okay, uh, you are definitely NOT driving the rental car in CA with your foot out the window! if you try it, I myself will pray down hoards of bees upon your little piggies!

HOW do you put your foot out the window while your drive? I'm getting cramps in my hips just thinking about it.
I think you're pretty safe in assuming that you're the only person who has experienced that today.

I have had a bee fly into my motorcycle jacket and sting me 5 times before I could get stopped and the jacket of though.

Ouch! One time I had my hand out the window driving down a country road and a bumble bee stung my palm...not fun.
